Lauren
Toolin,
E-RYT, is a nationally recognized yoga instructor and a senior student
and teaching assistant of both Rodney Yee and
Yogarupa Rod Stryker. She has
completed the Para Yoga Master Training with Rod,
which is one of the most intensive and advanced trainings in the country. Lauren has been
teaching for 15 years and is an initiated
practitioner in
the
tradition of Swami Rama of the Himalayas.
Her instruction is an engaging synthesis
of the clarity and precision of the Iyengar system and the joyful,
energetic inquiry of Tantra. Always insightful, inspirational, and
infused with humor, Lauren's teaching conveys her passionate
belief in Yoga's boundless potential for creating a healthy,
successful and loving existence. Lauren's
classes often include instruction in kriya, mantra, bandha,
pranayama and meditation - profound techniques which are rarely
taught in group yoga classes today.
In addition to teaching weekly classes at the
center, she teaches workshops at regional yoga centers and
conferences. See her guest teaching schedule
Here. She is a contributor to
Yoga + Joyful Living
magazine, and a featured instructor in the MOB Skwad
television series. |

Warren Ramsey
began practicing Yoga with Lauren in 2002, initially seeking an
alternative to conventional physical conditioning methods and
a way to relieve stress. He found that, and more, and within a
few months, knew that he had found his passion. He recently completed
and intensive course of study with Eileen Muir
of Karuna Yoga and continues to
study with Lauren. Practicing, assisting and teaching yoga
have been some of the most rewarding experiences he has ever had,
and his classes reflect his enthusiasm and ever expanding joy
in sharing yoga’s benefits. He is
an increasingly popular instructor and invites you to come and
practice with him! |

Linda Davis
Since starting a yoga practice in
1984, Linda continues to marvel at the healing power and physical
comfort yoga brings to the body. Linda was certified to teach in
2000. She continues to study with different teachers and
incorporates elements of various styles into her own practice and
classes. As well, she deepens her understanding of the
philosophical underpinnings and ultimate goal of yoga through the
continued study of the classical yoga texts.
As a teacher, Linda strives to
make yoga accessible for all, and at the
same time, challenging. She stresses the
importance of honoring the inner teacher by paying close attention
to bodily sensations and the breath. Linda has taught a variety of
classes, including yoga for kids, family yoga, senior yoga and yoga
for golf.
